After a few years of leaving my blogging tools to grow rusty and become hidden under a mountain of other life and work stuff. I have decided it is time to start blogging again. However it will not be here, nor will it be about science. You can find the blog at everystreet.

This is about different projects that I do from wood; carving, turning and construction. Monday, January 27, 2014. Here is a cypress knee Santa I carved in about a half hour. The painting took about 4 days. Also I painted the small Santa Christmas ornament, though it is still missing the eye for a hanging hook. This little guy was carved about 3 years ago. I wood burned the beard just prior to this painting. Be careful and enjoy the splinters.
